Waking Up in London
We had a welcome orientation in London for 3 days where my program showed us around central London and led several seminars on living in London and on adjusting to life as a British university student.
Having about 5 hours to spare, I went exploring at the British Museum. It was beautiful and so grand. Definitely topped all the museums that I've seen so far at home.

Sunny warm day in London!
The sheer amount of artifacts displayed was overwhelming. Artifacts ranging from Africa, the Medieval times, and ancient China to ancient Egypt plus more were displayed.
Some of the exhibits
Since there was so much time left, we grabbed some food and relaxed in one of the many parks at the corner of each intersection. Afterwards, we decided to walk the surrounding streets. We eventually stumbled upon King's Cross Station where we spotted Platform 9 3/4. We were then off to Hogwarts!
All of this was done is a matter of hours! The one thing about London that I really enjoy is that everything is within walking distance and is pretty convenient (or at least I think so far).
