CALIFORNIA TRAVELS: SAN FRANCISCO DAY 2

Today we woke up bright and early to eat some dim sum in Chinatown. Turns out we ended up eating at the restaurant that President Obama ate at when he came to San Francisco. The wait was not too bad when we came which was around 10am but when we left the queue was pretty long. The dim sum was pretty good I think but still not up to par with the dim sum in Monterey Park.
I didn't take any pictures while inside except for this Snapchat

We then trekked up to Coit Tower from Chinatown - a 20 minute uphill walk. The walk was gorgeous and we made it high enough where we had a beautiful view of the city and of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Coit Tower sits atop of a hill and has a nice 360 view of the city. The line for the view grows pretty quickly so I'd recommend to those who want to see this view to go early.

Coit Tower

I then went down to Billy Goat Hill Park where there was an infamous swing that is now gone. The swing boasts views of San Francisco and is nestled in a neighborhood. I wouldn't exactly call it a park since all it really is a little hill. There is an amazing view though and would recommend it to anyone. I especially loved all the pastel colored houses of SF.

No more swing :(
Next on the agenda was seeing the Painted Ladies, a row of Victorian houses that are seen in the opening of Full House. This is in Alamo Square.

Now for some nature! This is on the west coast of the bay and is called Sutro Baths. It is found at the end of the Land's End trail. What is left of Sutro Baths is ruins of a bath house. It is a little bit rocky here but the views are beautiful. The temperatures here drop considerably and you can really feel the cool ocean wind here. There are a lot of caves here to check out also.

Met up with a friend to explore the city
San Francisco, I think you may have just stole my heart.
