CALIFORNIA TRAVELS: SAN FRANCISCO DAY 4
Day 4 = Happy 4th of July! Happy 240th birthday to the United States of America! Everyone in the city was decked out in their 'murica gear clad in the good ol' red, white, and blue.
Today we spent our day at the Embarcadero while waiting for the fireworks that shot off at Fisherman's Wharf.
Started off the day at the Exploratorium - highly recommend this place. It's a science museum that features hands-on activities that guide our understanding of scientific concepts and is appropriate for all ages.
We then ate at Hog Island Oyster Co. at the ferry buildling. So good. The wait was around 30 minutes even on this busy holiday and it was worth the wait. The oysters were so fresh and super good. I highly reccomend the clam chowder. It's a bit more liquidy than the usual chowder but it is packed with clams and flavor.
