European Adventures: Copenhagen
A couple of weeks ago my aunt and I traveled to Copenhagen for the weekend. Copenhagen is such a beautiful city that was walkable in 1.5 days. It is pretty small in comparison to London and a much smaller population. Coming from London, I was shocked at the little amount of people walking around during the day and night. Nevertheless, the scenery and vibe of the capital was so relaxed. Luckily the weather treated us well. It was chilly with sun, probably around 60 F. Biking culture is huge here. There is a separate bike lane that is bigger than the pedestrian sidewalk and often times bigger than the road. Bikes are constantly zooming past and bike racks are always filled.
Nyhavn
the livliest place in Copenhagen
We stayed in one of these apartments!
View from Church of Our Savior
We went up about 400 stairs to reach the top of the building. Good workout!
Rosenborg Castle
The Danish Royal Guard at Amalienborg Palace
We got up and personal with them!
Canal tour
A definite must to see all of Copenhagen
